in The Global Brain and suggests
• porous cell membranes which allow passage of substances between
interior and exterior
• the breakdown of psychological boundaries and individual identity
• the breakdown of national boundaries, sovereignty, and continental
drift
• the flow and interrelationship between humans and geography
